Weekly Career Bulletin

To keep students informed about relevant opportunities and upcoming events, we send out a weekly Career Bulletin via email. This bulletin includes a curated list of internships, full-time roles, and career-enhancing events that may be of interest to our students. It’s the perfect way to stay updated on the latest opportunities and make sure you don’t miss out on any important career-related information.

Vmock is a career acceleration program, powered by artificial intelligence. Students can use this platform to create a resume, receive a resume review and learn how to create impactful LinkedIn profiles.

Google Career Certificates can help students prepare for jobs in data analytics, digital marketing & e-commerce, IT support, project management, and user experience (UX) design—no experience or degree required. Scholarships are available. Email us at HUSB-Career@howard.edu for more information.

Resources

Below are helpful links to resources to get you started on your path to career success.

The HUSB Career Closet

Each fall the School of Business welcomes a new class of freshmen that are required to attend class, corporate events, career fairs, and interviews in professional business attire.

Additionally, currently enrolled students preparing for interviews, seminars, and networking events are often without the essentials to make a great first impression.

For many of our students, the ability to purchase the items required comes easy but for others the extra funds needed to purchase these items can be a financial burden. As a result, many of the students start their first year without the necessary tools for success.

The Center for Career Excellence created the HUSB Career Closet to ensure all of our students are prepared to successfully begin their pursuit of a career in business!

Reach out to HUSB-Career@howard.edu for more information and assistance.
